Layer the Walls Part II

Set in the same tenement apartment as Layer the Walls Part I, this stand-alone piece brings to life more recent stories of immigration and migration drawn from events between 1930-1970. Stories include the struggle of a Chinese man separated from his family for 30 years, a Jewish teenager coming to NYC after surviving the Holocaust, and two Puerto Rican siblings who are becoming involved with the Young Lords' fight for healthcare justice. Layer the Walls Part II features rod puppets, half mask, and shadow puppetry.
